Photographs, high-speed frames and videos from the lab and the workshop: raindrops striking water, CO₂ sinking through a tank, particles steered inside drops by electric fields, water drops on cold and hot plates, smoke through a fan, and a small hatchback rebuilt as a hybrid.

A drop released from 20 cm: impact, the crater at 0.02 s, the water column at 0.15 s, and a droplet falling back at 0.19 s. From Verma et al. (2023). Raindrops

PLIF in fresh water one minute after CO₂ enters the headspace: dark CO₂-rich water forms at the surface. CO₂ transfer
Ten minutes in, the CO₂-rich water has sunk in plumes toward the bottom of the tank. CO₂ transfer
